To enjoy internet browsing, download services, and send mms photos & videos, Follow any of the two ways to configure your phone:
- Download Settings
- Manual Configuration
STEP 1:
Text SET to 211
STEP 2:
An SMS will be sent to you for the instructions along with the settings. Save the configuration settings.
STEP 3:
Key in 1234 as the PIN when prompted.
NOTE: Your mobile phone may not support settings download via over-the-air (OTA) or if the system is unavailable, you can manually configure your device.
Smart Mobile Internet Manual Configuration
STEP 1: Configure your MMS
This allows you to send photos, videos, and sound clips to other MMS capable handsets. Simply go to MMS Settings on your device and enter the following information:
- Connection Name : Smart MMS
- Access Point Name : mms
- Username : [Leave Blank]
- Password : [Leave Blank]
- MMSC : http://10.102.61.238:8002
- MMS Proxy : 10.102.61.46:8080
STEP 2: Setup Internet Browsing
This allows you to browse the internet, send and receive email, chat, and use online applications on your mobile phone. Go to your Connection Settings and enter the following information:
- Connection Name : Smart Internet
- Access Point Name : internet
- Username : [Leave Blank]
- Password : [Leave Blank]
- Proxy : [Leave Blank]
- Proxy Port : [Leave Blank]
- Homepage : http://m.smart.com.ph
- Connection Name : Smart GPRS
- Access Point Name : smart1
- Username : [Leave Blank]
- Password : [Leave Blank]
- Proxy : 10.102.61.46
- Proxy Port : 8080
- Homepage : http://m.smart.com.ph
STEP 3: Activate your MMS and Internet Browsing
To activate your MMS and Internet Browsing services, do the following:
For your MMS service, text MMS ON and send to 333.
For your Internet Browsing service, text 3G ON and send to 333.
An SMS will be sent back to you confirming the activation of your services.
